1. How long have you sold the same brand of sunroom?

Many companies switch brands often, shortchanging their customers for warranty, service, and also losing consistency in installation techniques. At Schmidt Siding & Window Co. we have used the same national brand, Temo Sunrooms®, since its inception in 2001.

2. Do you have experienced trained and certified personnel on your installation crew
    and are they dedicated to sunroom installation only?

At Schmidt Siding & Window Co. we have a production manager who has been employed with us for more than 20 years. We also have 2 installation crews that have been trained and certified to install Temo Sunrooms®. We do not subcontract any of our work.

3. What kinds of certifications and affiliations does the manufacturer have?

Temo Sunrooms® have been Gold Label certified by AAMA, American Architectural Manufacturers Association. They are also UL certified and meet or exceed all national engineering codes. Temo has its own staff of engineers on hand for a high-quality product and problem-free installation.

4. Do you provide a list of customers who have purchased a sunroom from your
    manufacturer and had it installed by your company?

Schmidt Siding & Window Co. provides a complete list of customer names, addresses and type of sunroom that was built since becoming a certified Temo Sunroom® dealer in 2001. 5. Do you have a full-size sunroom that demonstrates all of the options that are available? Do you
    have a sunroom which allows me to actually sit in it and experience what a sunroom feels like?

At the corner of 5th Street and Madison Avenue in Mankato, the Schmidt Siding & Window Co. showroom sports a full-size, fully functional solarium-style sunroom. It provides our customers the chance to actually experience a sunroom first hand. Our sunroom truly makes us feel like “Every Day is a Vacation!”

    How long has your company been in business?

Temo, Inc. has been in business for over 35 years. They are the first sunroom company to introduce the “Thermal Sunroom.” Schmidt Siding & Window Co. has been in business for over 59 years and is the largest home improvement company in southern Minnesota.
